Trish and I had worked on a number of smaller-scale projects previously, and as her high quality work gained traction in the jewellery space, she wanted to branch out on her own to make a name for herself in the industry. We decided that the first step for us would be to build a brand new eCommerce website from scratch that would become the online home and showcase for her jewellery work.
I recently completed a Squarespace website for a company named FocustApps. They're a full-service, mobile-first digital agency with extensive experience building software and mobile apps with Microsoft technologies based in Louisville, Kentucky.
I read this article on Techcrunch tonight (one of my favourite blogs), and I found it to be wildly informative and relatable as someone who is a designer in the startup space. As someone who works in the automotive marketing space (Convertus), I move very quickly in my day-to-day to build websites / web assets / etc. for our clients. Running a small team, a lot of what I do involves building efficient processes that are simple to follow and replicable, with the goal of improving our workflow for maximum scalability.
